  • How much does it cost?
Unfortunately with fully custom work it's not possible to give up front prices. Also retail pricing is not a good indicator for custom pricing, they are two different business models. However if you provide some basic information we can get an estimate together without getting too far into the process. Details that we need are; dimensions (LxWxH), material type (oak, walnut, etc), design specifics such as how many drawers if it's a dresser, inspo pics always help. For cabinetry we need to know how many linear feet (the length of the wall(s) the cabinets span), is it only lowers, lowers and uppers, or floor to ceiling. If you're still unsure just reach out, we're here to help.
  • Do you have a showroom?
We do not have a showroom, the address listed is our workshop. We are happy to arrange shop visits to go over projects, look over samples, or to check out progress on your piece once it's in production.
  • Can you match a stain/paint color?
Generally yes we can but only off of physical samples. If all you can provide is a photo we go by our best guess with off the shelf colors. We can provide color samples for approval.
  • How do I start? What's the process?
With an email! To get you an estimate quickly the details we need are; dimensions (LxWxH), material type (oak, walnut, etc), design specifics such as how many drawers if it's a dresser, inspo pics always help. For cabinetry we need to know how many linear feet (the length of the wall(s) the cabinets span), is it only lowers, lowers and uppers, or floor to ceiling. With that info we can provide a general estimate. If you choose to move forward we move onto the design phase. We create 3d sketches of the pieces with dimensions for approval. We talk through materials and finishes and provide the exact estimate which is never far from the general unless there are major changes. We're not looking to surprise anyone. With all that approved a deposit is paid and the project goes onto the production calendar. We will typically give a week's notice to set up a delivery date and time.
  • Do you ship?
We have shipped furniture all over the country although we prefer to work locally. For residential furniture shipping you must use white glove delivery service. Crating is available. The delivery service we use has very good rates for white glove service but the trade off is the shipping can take an additional 4-6 weeks. We do prefer delivering ourselves and have driven as far as Seattle.
  • How does the deposit work?
For furniture the deposit is 50% of the total with 50% due on completion. For smaller built-ins it's the same. For larger projects such as kitchens it's broken into 3-4 payments.
  • Do you do repairs / refinishing?
We have done some smaller repairs for clients however it is not our specialty. If you have antique pieces we highly recommend finding shops that focus on repair and refinishing.
  • How long does it take?
For furniture pieces the turn around time is 6-8 weeks from the time of a paid security deposit and approved design. Cabinetry typically depends on other factors, we work with clients to plan out a schedule. For full kitchens the design phase takes at least a month to work through sketches and options.
